We take a look at one of Crystal Palace's deadline day signings

He was pursued by Ian Holloway for much of the summer but Jack Hunt put pen to paper on deadline day to start a new chapter of his career at Selhurst Park, here is what a few of you might want to know about the lad from Yorkshire.

Five facts about Crystal Palace new boy Jack Hunt:

1) He made his professional first team debut for Huddersfield Town in a League two game against Chesterfield in a 2-1 win at the age of 19 under John Sheridan, in August 2010. He had appeared on the bench three times the previous season but didn’t get the opportunity to take part.

2) He was part of the Huddersfield team that had won promotion to the Championship via the League One play-offs after his side had won a penalty shoot-out 8-7 after a 0-0 draw against Sheffield United. Hunt managed to score his penalty.

3) During his time at Huddersfield he had two loan spells away from the club, at Grays Athletic and at Chesterfield.

4) Hunt isn’t afraid to get forward, which shows with his four goals and 19 career assists.

5) Because of his attacking play, Hunt can also play right midfield as well as right back, with all his attacking tributes on display on the video below.
