Schroders has announced that Mark Lacey will join as a co-fund manager on Schroder ISF Global Energy and Schroder ISF Small Cap Energy.
Lacey will work alongside the funds’ existing manager John Coyle who has more than 19 years’ investment experience. The investment objective of both funds remains unchanged.
Lacey joins on 9th September from commodities trader Mercuria Global Energy Solutions and brings with him more than 17 years’ of investment experience in the global energy sector. Prior to this he worked for Investec Asset Management as a co-fund manager of Investec GSF Global Energy and Investec GSF Enhanced Global Energy. He joined Investec from Goldman Sachs in 2008 where he was co-head of the energy team.
Lacey will report to Peter Harrison, Global Head of Equities and will work alongside the Global and International Equities team providing specialist energy analysis and stock recommendations.
