Arsenal signed Mesut Ozil for a club record fee, but not everybody is happy.
There is just no pleasing some people...
Arsene Wenger's biggest critic, Piers Morgan, could only take the briefest moment of positivity on a superb day for Arsenal.
The club sealed the transfer of German international playmaker Mesut Ozil for a record £42.4 million, but he still had grounds for complaint.
Labelling the club's summer 'ridiculous', Morgan hit out at the lack of a striker or defensive midfielder being added.
Brilliant though the Ozil signing is, it remains ridiculous that we end the window with £100m in the bank and no new striker, CDM. #AFC— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) September 2, 2013
The club did of course add Mathieu Flamini as a defensive midfielder, but Morgan's point remains that Arsenal have plenty of money left in the bank.
But with Ozil acquired, should he not simply be happy with that deal, and save the cash for the next window rather than panic buy?
What do you think of his complaints? Are they justified?
