His exploits at the end of the January transfer window made big news as he drove to QPR thinking he was completing his move to the West London club before being denied access, as his club West Brom hadn’t given him permission to speak to anyone about the move.
It caused a great reaction on twitter and even more when he ended up staying at West Brom for the rest of the season.
In a relatively dull January transfer deadline day it was some comedy to lift the mood of supporters everywhere, though not necessarily Baggies’ fans who were quite rightly angry at their players'' obvious lack of respect for his employers
But the question is where will his Range Rover end up today, there is already reported interest from Cardiff City, Stoke City and more out of the blue Everton, who are said to be looking for a striker.
Let's hope he chooses the right one this time as it’s a long way for each of them.
He may even treat us to a ‘Harry Redknapp style’ interview from inside his car when he arrives at his chosen destination.
Either way teams all over the country will be on guard for a visit from Odemwingie, West Brom fans will probably be glad to get rid of him. If he does move I’m sure he’ll be planning his road trip for January just in case it doesn’t work out at his new club.
Where should Odemwingie head?
