Liverpool transfer news: Real Madrid could go after Suarez, Borini loan possible

A round up of the latest transfer stories connected to Liverpool.

Some online sources this morning have suggested that Real Madrid will go after Luis Suarez if they sell Mesut Ozil to Arsenal.

Suarez has been linked with the Spanish giants numerous times already this summer and Mundo Deportivo has reported that Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti isn’t entirely convinced by Frenchman Karim Benzema.

However, the rumours have to be taken with a pinch of salt considering they appear to have started with Mundo Deportivo is a very aggressive pro-Barcelona news source, not afraid to ruffle the feathers of Real Madrid.

Liverpool are expected to complete the loan signing of Chelsea forward Victor Moses early this morning.

An agreement is in place which will see the winger and striker move to Anfield on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Brendan Rodgers has been very public in his urgency to sign another attacking option before the transfer deadline passes this evening, which prevents further business until January.

That arrival could prompt Fabio Borini to leave the club, with Sunderland touted as a possible loan destination.

However, Brendan Rodgers has been very public and vocal in his admission that he doesn’t want to loan out the Italian in the current transfer window.

The problem for Borini seems to be his limited chances of first team football and a deal could still go through today if the player urges the manager to let him leave temporarily.
