United are ‘closing in’ on Everton’s Marouane Fellaini, according to reports, the Belgian midfielder could be set to move in a £24 million deal from Goodison Park to link up with former Toffees boss David Moyes at Old Trafford.
However, his teammate and United target Leighton Baines is expected to stay at Everton, although with just hours left before the window closes, a shock move for the England fullback could still happen.
Meanwhile, Roma have rejected an ‘opening offer’ of £12 million from United for Daniele De Rossi. The Italian giants have stated they will reject any and all offers for the 30-year-old midfielder.
