Arsenal continue to talk with Chelsea over the potential signing of Demba Ba. The Gunners are keen on a season-long loan but Chelsea are holding out for a permanent move. They have no problem selling to a rival, as they will accept anyone who matches their valuation.
Sky Sports News (Guillem Balague) reports that Manchester United are willing to pay Ander Herrera’s buy out clause of €36m (£30.5m). They will have to pay it full in cash and it was reported earlier that the player wants to move to Manchester.
Meanwhile Everton are currently looking to bring in Wigan’s James McCarthy, they had a bid rejected yesterday and Dave Whelan is looking for a fee of £14m for the midfielder.

Mesut Ozil is having a medical in Munich ahead of a move to Arsenal and Bild reports that the deal will be announced within an hour.

Gareth Bale has passed a medical and completed his world-record transfer to Real Madrid. He was presented in front of 20,000 fans at the Santiago Bernabeu. He said it was a dream move for him having followed the club since he was 11.
Liverpool have completed deals for Tiago Ilori, Mamadou Sakho and Victor Moses, the latter on a one-year loan deal from Chelsea.
