Arsenal have made an enquiry to bring Chelsea striker Demba Ba to the Emirates. It is not yet known if it is a loan move or a permanent deal.

Sky Sports News reports that there is an ongoing dialogue between Everton and Manchester United over the potential sale of Marouane Fellaini. United are also interested in signing the Belgian’s teammate Leighton Baines, although a move for the left-back seems less likely at this stage.

Guillem Balague has claimed in the last hour that Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera wants to move to Manchester United. But doubts remain as to whether David Moyes will meet his €36million release-clause.

Sky Sports News understands that Tom Ince will remain at Blackpool this season, despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

They also claim Zenit St Petersburg have quoted Spurs a fee of £10million to take striker Hulk on loan for the season.

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly close to a deal to bring goalkeeper Lee Camp to The Hawthorns.

Hull City are reportedly in talks to bring Egyptian striker Gedo back to the KC Stadium following a loan spell last season.

Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has confirmed that he hopes to bring in one more player this season. He said it would be a loan move for a striker currently playing outside England.

Mesut Ozil is having a medical in Germany as his move to Arsenal draws closer.

Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is having a medical prior to a loan move to Sunderland.

West Brom’s Peter Odemwingie has been given permission to talk to Cardiff City and is reportedly having a medical.

West Bromwich Albion are in talks to sign Everton forward Victor Anichebe and Sunderland’s Stephane Sessegnon.

Done Deals:

Gareth Bale has passed a medical and completed his world-record transfer to Real Madrid. He was unveiled to the Bernabeu faithful at midday today.

Liverpool have completed deals for Tiago Ilori, Mamadou Sakho and Victor Moses, the latter on a one-year loan deal from Chelsea.

Everton midfielder Francisco Junior has joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan.

West Bromwich Albion have signed midfielder Morgan Amalfitano on loan from Marseille.
