Despite intimating yesterday that Nicklas Bendtner could stay at Arsenal, Crystal Palace have reopened negotiations with the player about a move to Selhurst Park.
With that in mind Arsenal are said to be after a former Chelsea player - in the form of Salamon Kalou. The Ivorian has been in great form recently for Lille and has a very affordable release clause of £2.6 million - but he will only move to a team giving him assurances of playing through the middle.
