Five Liverpool players who could leave before the transfer deadline.
Liverpool are gearing into action in the transfer market after a stagnant final month so far, with Tiago Ilori close to sealing a move and negotiations ongoing for another central defender Mamadou Sakho.
But who could be heading for the exit before the transfer window closes? Here are five possible candidates, be it permanently or on loan...
Brendan Rodgers admitted as much last week that he wanted to send Andre Wisdom on loan so he could gain regular first team experience, with The Championship a likely destination. It was conditional at that point on the Reds signing a new defender, and with Ilori's switch almost complete, Wisdom's temporary exit is almost certain.
Fabio Borini has struggled to make it into Liverpool's starting league line-up so far, and did not even get the chance to impress against Notts County. When Suarez returns, his chances will be even more limited, and one of his admirers in Italy could tempt Liverpool with a late bid or loan offer.
One-time wonderkid Pacheco must be aware his time at Liverpool is nearly up. The Spaniard is no closer to making an impression at Anfield, despite impressing on loan at Liga Adelante side Huesca at the end of last season. Liverpool may only be able to offload him on loan, for the good of his career.
Adam Morgan is another youngster who has failed to breakthrough, despite little over a year ago being tipped to transfer his youth team form to the first team. The talented striker is not a lost cause however, and a late loan move could provide him with the chance to show his worth.
After making his debut under Kenny Dalglish, young right-back Jon Flanagan has seen his prospects slow, harmed by a five month knee injury lay-off last season. The right-back is behind Glen Johnson, Martin Kelly, and Andre Wisdom in the pecking order, and needs a loan move to reinvigorate his career.
Who do you expect to leave the club?
