A select round-up of transfer news relating to Arsenal, including Mesut Ozil, Karim Benzema and Juan Mata.
Arsenal have yet again been linked with the Real Madrid trio of Mesut Ozil, Karim Benzema and Angel Di Maria. Arsene Wenger is willing to spend his entire transfer budget on the three players as he looks to salvage this transfer window, as he has only brought in two players so far this summer.
Despite all three players stating their desire to stay at the club, it is reported that Madrid will listen to offers in order to balance the books after the arrival of Gareth Bale for over £80m.
Meanwhile Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has warned the Gunners off Juan Mata after Wenger revealed his admiration of the player last week. Mata's position at Chelsea has come under threat after the club signed a number of players in his position, though Mourinho said he is an important player and will not be sold.
After reports in France of interest last week, Arsenal have submitted a bid for St Etienne midfielder Josuha Guilavogui who has also been the subject of interest from Newcastle as a replacement for Yohan Cabaye.
It is now unlikely that any new players will be in contention to feature for Arsenal in Sunday's game against Tottenham, except Mathieu Flamini, who re-signed for the club yesterday on a three-year deal.
