Transfer talk: Featuring Eriksen, Baines and Kagawa

Transfer news regarding Manchester United, Everton, Arsenal, West Ham, Tottenham, Chelsea and Stoke City.

Tottenham Hotspur, unsurprisingly lead the way in transfer talk today - with Gareth Bale’s move to Real Madrid still imminent.

But the club are moving fast to bring in even more signings this summer.

Vlad Chiriches and Erik Lamela are both said to be in London for a medical - while transfer talks are ongoing with Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen over a potential switch to White Hart Lane.

It is reported that Leighton Baines has asked Everton to let him join Manchester United - but has been told he is going nowhere. Baines has been the subject of a double Everton chase by United - with Marouane Fellaini also targeted.

Atletico Madrid reportedly want Manchester United attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa on loan. The Japanese international has not yet forced his way into the United fold - despite being popular with the clubs fans.

Samuel Eto’o is reportedly in London to discuss the details of a £7 million one-year deal at Chelsea, leaving this reporter asking - ‘what is there to discuss?’

Stoke City are being linked with £2million switch for Werder Bremen’s half-English German international Aaron Hunt this morning.

Mathieu Flamini, who has been training with former club Arsenal, has now reportedly agreed two-year contract with the club. He would be Arsenal’s second signing of the summer - totalling at a cost of £0.

John Obi Mikel will be going nowhere this summer. The Nigerian has been linked with plenty of moves in recent weeks - as he appears to be down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho.

But one of his representatives has confirmed he will stay for the foreseeable future.

Finally, and West Ham forward Ricardo Vaz Te has asked for a transfer away from the club this summer. The Portuguese attacker, who was integral to the clubs promotion campaign of 2011-12, is now down the pecking order at Upton Park.
