The Express, however, reports that David Moyes is putting all his energy into signing Marouane Fellaini. According to reports this week, United launched a £20 million bid for the Belgian midfielder.
Meanwhile, Shinji Kagawa will ‘not leave’ United according to his agent Thomas Kroth, amidst speculation he could return to Borussia Dortmund or potentially move to Athletico Madrid.
"Shinji will currently not be leaving Manchester United. He wants to fight for his place," insisted Kroth of the Japan international.
Finally, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insisted Juan Mata will not be leaving the Blues this summer, despite speculation he could be sold after being benched for the last three games in succession.
"He wants to stay. I want him to stay, the club want him to stay. There is no story," stated the Portuguese boss.
