Odds: Man City 2/11, Draw 7/1, Hull City 18/1
Having lost to a newly promoted team last weekend you can expect Manchester City to be much improved in this game as they return home looking to get back in track in the League. Hull will be full of confidence after earning their first three points of the season at home to Norwich.
Injuries will still hurt Manchester City because Vincent Kompany will miss the game with a groin injury he picked up in the opener against Newcastle.
This will be an area that Steve Bruce will look to exploit during the game, Pellegrini’s side didn’t look solid at the back when the played Cardiff and Hull will believe they can cause them problems as well.
Despite the injuries and the performance last time out Manchester City should have too much quality for Hull and you can expect a comfortable win for the home side.
You can’t imagine that Manuel Pellegrini would allow his side to perform for two games in a row and the can’t afford to drop any more points early on letting their rivals establish a lead which could be crucial latter on in the season.
For Hull it is yet another difficult game in a tough start to the season. Hopefully his sideshow a bit more fight than they did against Chelsea on the opening weekend.
