Saints Row IV leads charge in all new top 3 for UK chart

Deep Silver’s taboo teasing sandbox title debuts as the UK’s best seller.

Saints Row IV has broken in to the UK market at number one on the software sales chart, alongside other newcomers Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Disney Infinity at number two and three respectively, according to data provided by Chart-Track.

Deep Silver’s title represents the 4th biggest launch of the year, behind Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite and The Last of Us, beating out Disney’s anticipated answer to the child-focused Skylanders, its own Disney Infinity, which broke in at number three.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition slid two places to take fourth, while Call of Duty: Black Ops II, FIFA 13 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf did likewise and fell to fifth, sixth and seventh places respectively.

Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes held onto its spot at number eight, while the The Bureau: XCOM Declassified debuted at ten, with The Last of Us breaking apart the two by falling three places to number nine.
