Arsenal could have done without any fresh injury concerns ahead of the North London Derby, but that is exactly what they now have to contend with.
German striker Lukas Podolski was making his second start of the season for the Gunners in the home win over Fenerbahce, but it did not end well for the German.
He went down injured in the 49th minute, with Kieran Gibbs brought on in his place.
Podolski had to be carried off the field on a stretcher, appearing to be suffering a hamstring injury.
That diagnosis has since been confirmed, and he has been ruled out for three weeks.
Crucially it will rule him out of Arsenal's important North London Derby clash with Tottenham on Sunday, limiting the Gunners' options in attack for the fixture.
How much of a blow is the injury for Arsenal?
