Manchester United fans will already be ruing the fact Paul Pogba was allowed to leave the club more than a year ago, especially with midfield an area of the club which requires strengthening.
The Frenchman left to sign for Juventus, where he has grown into a genuine star, establishing himself with the Serie A champions and helping them to silverware last season.
He also helped France win the under-20 World Cup this summer, and has senior caps to his name already, expected to be part of the World Cup squad next summer.
Pogba has still been linked with transfers away from the club, but Juventus have flatly refused any advances from Real Madrid and latterly Arsenal.
So how much is he actually worth? Well his agent believes he is worth a quite staggering amount, relative to the fees being touted for Tottenham's Gareth Bale.
The outspoken Mino Raiola has been talking up Pogba, along with another man he represents who will be well known in Manchester; Mario Balotelli.
He said: "Worth more than Bale. If Bale is worth £100 million him and Balotelli are worth double. If I have to compare it to a work of art is a Salvador Dalí.
"It is not I do the assessment - but it was the Real Madrid deciding to pay $ 100 million for Bale. And 'the law of the market means that Pogba worth 200. "
That's high praise, for a player who even a £20 million fee would have seemed excessive for last summer. Indeed United did not even recoup £20 on the midfielder, losing him on a free because his contract expires.
It's worth noting that Raiola has made claims like this before. He hyped up Balotelli after his Euro 2012 exploits, stating he was worth €250 million.
Six months later he was sold by Manchester City to Milan for a deal which would cost a maximum of £25 million including add-ons.
Raiola is shrewd enough to realise that no £200 million bids are likely to come in for Pogba anytime soon, but by continuing to hype up the Frenchman; when the time comes and he is on the market - the figure for a player of his potential could just be an extraordinary one.
