Exactly a year ago to the day Chelsea announced the double signing of both Victor Moses and Cesar Azpilicueta from Wigan Athletic and Marseille respectively.
A year later, and one of those players certainly looks like departing Stamford Bridge this summer, with a deal confirmed this weekend the main reason for his apparently imminent departure.
It was confirmed yesterday that Chelsea had swooped in and stolen away Brazilian forward Willian from under the noses of their London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
His £30 million price tag seems excessive for a player to have never played in mainland Europe, but it is a justification of his magnificent talent.
And you can be sure that Chelsea will not be splurging that amount of cash on a player who will not play a massive role in the starting XI next term.
With the likes of Juan Mata, Oscar, Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Andre Schurrle and Marco van Ginkel all already at the club - it is fair to say that Victor Moses is now well down the pecking order at the club
So a year to the day since he arrived at Stamford Bridge - where next for the Nigerian international?
The most obvious link recently has been a move to Everton.
Jose Mourinho has recently intimated that players leaving between now and the end of the transfer window, would likely depart on loan deals rather than anything permanent.
This would suit Everton, who are not blessed with vast amounts of cash to spend on new talent. Moses also worked with Martinez at the DW Stadium - so there is scope for a move there.
But other teams will also be keen - especially those in London.
Fulham would love to have him on board, whereas his boyhood club Crystal Palace would also love to bring him in on loan this summer.
He would be the perfect replacement for Manchester United newbie Wilfried Zaha, and if a deal on his wages could be conducted - he would be a very popular addition.
Where do you think Moses should end up this summer?
