Romania’s national coach Vitor Piturca has announced that Vlad Chiriches will be leaving Steaua Bucharest this week. The player has been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur recently, and the talented player seemed to be on his way.
However controversial and imprisoned Steaua owner Gigi Becali said the deal would not be happening. Spurs would now be considered the favourites to sign him, however Roma are also keen.
David Moyes has stated that Everton need to do right by Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines. The new Manchester United manager has stated that he would have struggled to stand in the way of either player should Sir Alex Ferguson have made an approach for their signings:
‘’I also know if I had been Everton manager and Sir Alex (Ferguson) had come asking for Baines and Fellaini I'd have found it very difficult to keep them.’’

The Argentine playmaker has been a target for the club in recent weeks, as a potential replacement for Gareth Bale. It is reported in Italy that the deal could be announced as early as Monday.
Arsenal are said to be reigniting their interest in Emiliano Viviano. The Palermo keeper is for sale at the recently relegated Serie B club and he is considered a cost-effective solution to their goalkeeping conundrum.
