Liverpool travel to Villa Park in today's evening kick off, how will they line up?
Aston Villa have had a heck of a difficult start to the season, but have certainly won themselves plaudits with their performances.
They defeated Arsenal at The Emirates on opening day and then pushed Chelsea all the way in midweek. So now they must face Liverpool in their third game of the season.
Liverpool won their opening game of the season 1-0 against Stoke City, with last minute drama the order of the day after Simon Mignolet’s excellent double save.
However the 1-0 result did not tell the tale of this game, Liverpool were absolutely dominant throughout, and were it not for the performance of Asmir Begovic the scoreline would have been an absolutely different tale.
With both teams likely to play a similar style this should be an excellent and exciting game to watch in the Midlands.
Villa cannot call upon Nathan Baker or Charles N’Zogbia, but Ciaran Clark has recovered from a head injury.
Liverpool have a full squad, other than the absence of Luis Suarez through suspension and Sebastian Coates - who will miss the rest of the season with knee ligament damage.
But one player to look out form is Aly Cissokho, does he make his debut for Liverpool today? Read on to find out…
