On loan Liverpool starlet Suso impresses again with dissecting through ball assist

Getafe drew 2-2 with Almeria yesterday, with Suso again impressing for the away side.

Last summer Liverpool went on a mass period of rebuilding, with plenty of names being moved on from the club as Brendan Rodgers decided to install his new footballing philosophy on the team.

But, as ever with such a widespread change of direction at any football team, there was simply not enough time for Rodgers to put his new team together.

In that respect Rodgers had to count on some of the younger players to come good.

One such player was Spanish starlet Suso. The talented prodigy was tipped for greatness ever since arriving from Cadiz in 2010 - with the fans at the club particulary vociferous in their belief that great things were to come from Jesus Joaquin Fernandez Saez de la Torre.

But eventually his first-team playing time diminished, and with the arrival of several direct competitors since January, it became clear he was set to be going on his way on loan in 2012-13.

The 19-year-old was certainly the right age to be sent out on a temporary spell - and this way he would be assured of first-team football.

In the end it was Almeria who came knocking. The Spanish outfit were promoted from Segunda Liga last term, and needed strength in depth in order to survive a season in one of Europe’s strongest leagues.

And Suso has had quite a start with the club. He was heavily involved in both teams goals on the opening day of the season, in a 3-2 loss against Villarreal.

And he has continued his form for his loan club this weekend.

Almeria drew 2-2 with Getafe in La Liga yesterday evening, with Suso having an excellent game.

The highlight of his performance would have to be his assist for the opening goal of the game. His defence splitting pass set former Sheffield Wednesday loanee Rodri through on goal, who proceeded to coolly slotted the ball past Moya in the Getafe sticks.

Do you think Suso will return ready for the first team next summer?
