Former Everton and Manchester United star wants Fellaini to go Old Trafford

Louis Saha has stated that he wants Marouane Fellaini to join Manchester United this summer in a Twitter Q&A.

Everton described the recent bids from Manchester United for two of their star players this week as ‘insulting’ and it is fair to see why - a combined bid of just £28 million was certainly nowhere near any valuation Everton could easily ask for their star duo.

While it appears that Leighton Baines is not having his head turned by the speculation - but the story is that Marouane Fellaini does want a move to United.

The Belgian has made no secret in the past of his desire to play Champions League football. Now, with his former boss David Moyes at Old Trafford, he might just have the best ever opportunity to make his dream come true.

Everton fans would certainly not want to see one of their star men make the switch to United - they have certainly seen that happen before. But at the right price, we all know that Everton will have to sell the player.

And there is one mutual friend of all parties who believes Fellaini should be making the move to United.

Louis Saha retired from professional football this summer. During his career he spent four years with both Manchester United and Everton between the years of 2004 and 2012.

On Friday the former French international, who has an excellent rapport with his fans on social network site Twitter, held a Q&A session with his followers.

And this was one of the questions put to Saha yesterday:

So this former star of both teams believes Fellaini should join United, what do you think?
