Serie A side Juventus have warned Arsenal and Real Madrid that any continued interest in midfield talent Paul Pogba, 20, will be a waste of their time as the tall Frenchman will remain in Turin for the coming season.
A reject at Manchester United, Pogba blossomed under the guidance of Antonio Conte last year due to his versatility, awkward style, his strength in the air, range of passing and all-round ability with the ball at his feet.
His break-out season, a year in which he returned five goals in 37 appearances in all competitions, was fundamental in La Vecchia Signora's successful Scudetto push but Conte and the club's board are adamant he represents the Bianconeri for the coming season.
Real Madrid have recently lost key midfielder Xabi Alonso to a medium term injury while Arsenal remain light of options, however, in a message to both clubs, director general Giuseppe Marotta told them to 'Forget about Pogba.'
'We do not have the slightest intention of listening to any offer which may arrive for our midfielder,' Marotta concluded, as reported by Tuttosport.
Pogba is not the only Juve player Arsenal have been interested in as British tabloids linked Stephan Lichtsteiner with a Premier League switch earlier this month.
The club's transfer policy has, thus far, been mixed as the Italian side have lost Emanuele Giaccherini and Felipe Melo to Sunderland and Galatasaray respectively, but have added Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente and Angelo Ogbonna to their playing roster.
