Arsenal effectively sealed their path to the Champions League group stages, with a 3-0 win away to Fenerbahce.
Second half goals from Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey, and a penalty from Olivier Giroud sealed the victory.
The win may have been at a small price, with a number of Gunners suffering or aggravating old injuries, the full extent of which will become clear ahead of the weekend.
Laurent Koscielny suffered a head injury, Wojciech Szczesny was studded in the neck, and Kieran Gibbs also had a moment of pain.
He went from being in ecstasy from netting the opener, to agony after the chaotic celebrations opened up the wound on his forehead suffered against Aston Villa, which required eight stitches.
Theo Walcott, who assisted his goal, said after the game:
"'He did scream like a little girl when the scar opened on his forehead."
We are sure Gibbs will be delighted with the comparison.
Still, pain and humiliation at the hands of a teammate, are a small price to pay for a crucial goal in a victory, we are sure you will agree.
How impressed were you with Gibbs' performance?
