All the latest Tottenham Hotspur related news and gossip.

Scott Parker has completed his switch away from the club, this evening being announced as Fulham signing. The midfielder joins the west London side on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. He played at Spurs for two seasons, but had found himself marginalised by the club's new additions, and follows Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore (loan) in exiting the club in the past week.

Tottenham's under-21 side got their season off to a superb start this afternoon, in a home fixture against Manchester City. Spurs won the game 6-3, with a hat-trick from young striker Harry Kane. Tom Carroll had opened the scoring for Spurs, and provided two assists in a standout showing for the youngster.

Shaquille Coulthirst and Nabil Bentaleb completed the scoring, in a win which highlighted the real strength in depth that Tottenham have at their disposal this season, especially in the attacking positions.

But by far the most noteworthy issue to arise from the game was the presence of midfielder Sandro, who completed 67 minutes as he stepped up his return from injury. The Brazilian is expected to become available for the first team within the next fortnight.

Spurs won their opening Premier League game of the season 1-0 at Crystal Palace, thanks to a Roberto Soldado penalty. And manager Andre Villas-Boas has warned the rest of the Premier League that his star striker is just getting warmed up. We have taken a look at the performance of another debutant, Nacer Chadli - who created three chances in his first game in English football.

Another to make his debut, off the bench, was Etienne Capoue, with the midfielder having a big impact in his short time on the pitch. He spoke of his thrill at being involved, stating: "It was hard work out there, but that's my job, to defend and then join the attack. I thought we played well and deserved to win and as I said, it was amazing to play."

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was also impressive when called upon, racking up a clean sheet in the first game of the season. We have taken a look at how the stopper can be a huge player for the club this campaign, his first full season at Tottenham.

Spurs are also very much in the hunt for Brazilian playmaker Willian, also linked with Liverpool. It was reported last night that the club have approached the player's representatives about joining them.
