Transfer news involving Aston Villa, Fulham, Liverpool, QPR, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Stoke City, West Ham, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Darren Bent has left Aston Villa and joined Fulham on a season-long loan deal. The former Tottenham and Sunderland striker has fallen down the pecking order at the club, ever since the arrival of Belgian star Christian Benteke.

He has moved to Craven Cottage in spite of interest from Newcastle United and Crystal Palace - where he will join up with former manager at Spurs Martin Jol.

Liverpool are on the verge of a double swoop this Friday. Despite Brendan Rodgers claiming the other day that there was nothing in the rumours linking the club with Valencia left-back Aly Cissokho, it appears a season-long loan deal is imminent.

Meanwhile the club are also in discussions with Anzhi Makhachkala over a potential deal to sign the Brazilian forward Willian.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that the club have agreed a transfer fee with his former club Tottenham Hotspur for England international Scott Parker.

Any deal is now dependent solely on Parker, and whether he can envisage himself dropping into the Football League - Fulham are also said to be monitoring the situation.

Crystal Palace seem on the verge of another summer signing, with Bordeaux left-back Florian Marange set to sign for The Eagles.

QPR have rejected a bid from Stoke City to take Junior Hoilett on loan for the season. Mark Hughes has worked with the player at both Blackburn Rovers and QPR but Harry Redknapp says he is not for sale, after an excellent start to the season.

West Ham will reportedly consider letting Modibo Maiga join St Etienne on loan this summer. If that deal was to occur then Sam Allardyce would pin-point Hugo Almeida of Besiktas as a transfer target.

Finally, and Chelsea could be about to give up on any deal to sign Wayne Rooney. It is believed that Jose Mourinho has given up hope of a deal for the Manchester United player, and instead turned his attentions to Samuel Eto’o of Anzhi Makhachkala.
