Transfer Talk: Featuring Odemwingie, Cissokho and Wallace

West Brom, Sunderland, Valencia, Tottenham, Fulham, West Ham, Watford, Porto, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Plymouth, Crewe and Newcastle all feature.

West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie’s proposed move to Al Nasr is ‘off’ according to reports. The Dubai-based side have apparently become disillusioned with West Brom’s handling of the transfer and have decided to withdraw their interest.

Sunderland are ‘eyeing’ Valencia defender Aly Cissokho, according to Sky Sports. The 25-year-old is a reported target of Black Cats’ boss Paolo Di Canio as he looks to add strength and depth to his squad this summer.

London rivals Tottenham, Fulham and West Ham are reportedly ‘tracking' Troy Deeney of Watford after an impressive term in the Championship campaign last term.

Tottenham are also reportedly ‘back in’ for Porto winger Christian Atsu, according to reports this afternoon.

In Serie A, Inter Milan have confirmed the signing of Wallace on loan from Chelsea for the season. The 19-year-old right back will remain at the San Siro this term to gain first-team experience after joining the Blues from Fluminense this summer.

Plymouth have confirmed former Tottenham midfielder Dean Parrett is training at the club. The 21-year-old was released by Spurs at the end of last season after failing to break into the first team at White Hart Lane.

Finally, Crewe will make a ‘final’ offer for Newcastle for Brad Inman, who the Magpies formerly loaned to Steve David’ side. After making three bids for the 21-year-old it is understood this will be their final offer after having already agreed personal terms with the Australian.
