Transfer talk: Featuring Gustavo, Eriksen and Sinclair

Transfer news involving Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, Everton, West Ham, QPR, Hull City and West Bromwich Albion.

Arsenal have reportedly made a £14 million bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo. The Brazilian is strongly linked with an exit from the Allianz Arena this summer - as he wants to be assured of regular football ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

VfL Wolfsburg and Chelsea are also said to be keen.

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want two Ajax players for the start of the new season. They are being linked with moves for both Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen this summer. It is said a joint £15 million bid could be lodged for the Belgian and the Dane.

Everton will reportedly make a move for SC Braga left-back Elderson Echiejile - if Leighton Baines moves to Manchester United. United have reportedly lodged another bid for the player and the Nigerian is seen as the perfect replacement - at just £1.5 million.

Sam Allardyce is said to be considering a move for QPR midfielder Joey Barton. It would see something of an ‘Unholy Trinity’ with fellow bad-boys and ex-Newcastle United players Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce is considering a raid on Tottenham Hotspur. The Tigers have earmarked a loan-deal for Jake Livermore and a purchase of Tom Huddlestone as potential transfer dealings for this summer.

Estudiantes have confirmed that former West Ham target Duvan Zapata is the subject of a successful bid from Queens Park Rangers. Whether QPR will have better luck with his Work Permit application remains to be seen.

Plenty of transfer news now from West Bromwich Albion. Steve Clarke has confirmed that Scott Sinclair is a major target for the club. The Manchester City winger is said to be desperate for a move away from the Etihad after a dismal debut season. However despite a bid being accepted for Salamon Kalou, Clarke does not expect him to leave Lille this summer.

They are also said to be on the verge of signing Czech international Matej Vydra on a season-long loan deal from Udinese.
