2013/14 Premier League final table predictions

Alan Dawson: 6th - Michael Laudrup and Swansea are threatening Fulham as ‘everyone’s favourite second club’. Laudrup provides an exciting brand of football. He has an eye for talent and Wilfried Bony is set to boom this season.

Callum Farrell: 6th - Laudrup has improved on a squad which was already impressing fans all over the country and Europe. The manager got his big money transfers who appear to have settled in perfectly. Onwards and upwards.

Ian Bolland: 7th - It would not be surprising to see them continue to build on their two impressive seasons in the top flight and finish closer to the European places in the Premier League, depending how much their own European campaign takes out of them.

Dan Coombs: 7th - Expect big things from Swansea once again, with a double act in Michu and Wilfried Bony likely to score for fun. They have made clever additions through the squad, and may go onto prove that Europa and Premier League success can be achieved.

Nick Harris: 7th - Another good summer has seen Swansea sign several players capable of helping them challenge for the European places in the Premier League, and the new attacking partnership of Wilfried Bony and Michu looks especially exciting.

Gareth McKnight: 7th - Swansea have signed a couple of good players this summer, and I think Michu and Bony will be a dangerous partnership in attack. All depends on how they juggle domestic and European football.

Mathew Nash: 7th - I was so impressed by the Swans recent performance against Malmo in the Europa League that I decided to put them above Everton in the pecking order. They were good last year, but the transfer activity this summer has been fantastic and with their brand of football I genuinely see no reason why they cannot finish in a lofty seventh position.

Jamie Allen: 8th - Wilfried Bony a star, his partnership with Michu will terrorise defences all season long. There'll be a tail off at the end of the season due to European exploits.

Lewis Doe: 8th - The attacking combination of Wilfried Bony and Michu will scare the life out of several Premier League teams this season. Swansea are notorious for the way they play under Michael Laudrup, and they have a very strong spine throughout the side. If they can make the Liberty Stadium a fortress, they will easily be in the top ten.

Jenny Leigh: 8th - Swansea were really buoyant last term and I think they’ll improve further under Laudrup this coming season. But I do believe the Europa League will take its toll towards the run-in. Bony’s addition is going to be crucial, though.

Graham Morris: 8th - I expect the third tier to start again at 8th this year. Swansea have strengthened sensibly and Bony looks particularly exciting. Could they trouble the European places ?

Vincent Ralph: 9th - But for their soiree into Europe, the Swans would be one place higher in my predictions. But the Europa League has been the downfall of far bigger squads than Michael Laudrup’s, and much will depend on how seriously he takes the competition. Wilfried Bony is an outstanding addition and will outscore Michu, while Jose Canas will be an unsung hero, and vital component, in the centre of the park.

Vic Daniels: 11th - Harder work this season than last, as Swansea get bogged down in the Europa marathon. The club will also be looking for a new manager at the end of the season.
