Luis Suarez is going nowhere; so says Liverpool owner John W Henry.
The American stated in an interview: "I'm unequivocal that we won't sell to Arsenal, whatever the bid is."
"I have not said it to Stan [Kroenke, Arsenal's majority shareholder] but I had a personal conversation with others at Arsenal and told him [Gazidis] we would not sell to Arsenal."
He also went onto take a dig at Arsenal's lack of trophies in comparison to Liverpool, calling a desire for a move 'misguided.'
There has been quite a reaction to his statements as seen by the comments of Liverpool and Arsenal fans on our article linked above, and one of the Gunners' most famous fans still has his doubts.
Piers Morgan, CNN host and an outspoken Arsenal supporter, hit back at John W Henry's 'what are they smoking at the Emirates' dig he made last month when the Gunners' £40 million plus £1 offer was received.
He then went onto question the integrity of Henry's comments, calling him a 'windbag', implying he sold a star player in Fernando Torres once before and is not to be trusted.
The difference is this time Henry is not just adjusting to Liverpool like he was then, and appears fully committed to keeping Suarez at any cost, with a far better understanding of the challenges involved in running the club.
You can see exactly what Morgan had to say on his Twitter page below:
Does Morgan have a point? Can you see Henry caving in on this one or should Arsenal now just walk away?
