A round up of the latest transfer news to do with Liverpool.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has accused the club of contradicting a clause in his contract, which gives him an option to leave if Champions League football hasn’t been secured.
Suarez continues to be linked with a big money move to either Real Madrid or Arsenal, with the Gunners having already seen two bids for the player turned down.
Suarez has also reportedly told Liverpool that he’s not afraid of submitting an official transfer request to try and leave the club.
Liverpool could revitalise their interest in Sporting Lisbon defender Tiago Ilori.
Liverpool are searching for defensive reinforcements and Sporting have reportedly put a £6 million price tag on the head of the 20-year-old Portuguese star.
Liverpool were strongly linked with Ilori earlier in the summer, but they could face a fight with Tottenham Hotspur to sign the youngster.
Liverpool youngster Dani Pacheco is edging closer towards an Anfield exit.
Spanish side Cordoba are poised to make a move for the 22-year-old forward who has been unable to break into Brendan Rodgers’ first team plans despite a clear emphasis on using younger players.
He joined Liverpool in 2007 from Barcelona’s youth ranks and represented youth teams for the club from Under-16 to Under-21 level.
