Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says he wants to leave the club, accusing manager Brendan Rodgers of breaking a promise he made last summer, suggesting Suarez could leave if Champions League football wasn’t secured.
“I gave absolutely everything last season. Now all I want is for Liverpool to honour our agreement,” said Suarez.
“I won't speak about Bale, because I have already angered him (Villas-Boas) and I don't want to anger another coach. I didn't say anything in particular and I prefer not to talk about this,” said the Italian.
England cricket coach Andy Flower says Kevin Pietersen will be well looked after. There have been big question marks over the number four’s fitness, with the batsman missing three out of eight Tests this year and only being passed fit for the last Ashes Test at the final moment.
