A round up of the latest transfer stories connected to Chelsea.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will not give up on trying to sign Wayne Rooney from Manchester United.

Chelsea have already seen two bids, with the latest around £30 million, knocked back by United who remain insistent that the striker is not for sale.

The 27-year-old could be the subject of a third bid from the West London side, which could be in the region of £35 million.

Chelsea’s resolve over David Luiz will be tested by a second bid from Barcelona worth around £45 million.

Barca had a bid for the centre back turned down last month with Jose Mourinho insisting that he was not looking to sell the defender.

Barca have been linked with various centre backs throughout the summer as they look to sure up fragility in their back four which was exposed in the Champions League last season.

Chelsea youngster Wallace could be an Inter Milan player next week as the Serie A giants are close to sealing a loan move for the full back.

Inter will reportedly pay Chelsea a fee of just over £1 million to ensure they get the loan deal, which will run throughout next season.

Jose Mourinho wants Wallace to go and get first team experience with another side despite having used the 19-year-old in pre-season friendly matches ahead of the new season.
