Video footage of Spanish train derailment

Spanish train crash still

On Wednesday evening, a high-speed train derailed near the town of Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain killing at least 78 passengers, and injuring 130 more.

Spanish newspaper El País obtained footage of the train which appears to be travelling too fast around a bend in the track, before derailing and smashing into a side wall.

Reports claims that the train was travelling at near 120 mph, twice the recommended speed.
