Video gaffe: Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho 'hungry for sex' blunder

Sky Sports News presenter Hayley McQueen had an unfortunate slip of the tongue this week.

In this modern age of technological wizardry, 24 hours news channels and general non-stop access to absolutely everything at the click of a button you are never more than ten minutes away from a news story.

In the world of sport the main hub of that information comes from Sky Sports News; for the most part an excellent source of news.

But on the rare occasion the news itself becomes the news; this is one of those stories.

Now other than Paul Merson trying to say 'Pavel Pogrebnyak', or the 'videprinter', occasionally deciding that a long retired player has actually made a comeback (Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scored for Stockport County last season, apparently) they are generally well versed in regards to avoiding errors in the SSN studio.

But one of the most popular presenters on the channel had, let’s say, an unfortunate slip of tongue this week.

Because we are pretty sure SSN and MUTV presenter Hayley McQueen did not mean to say that ‘Jose Mourinho was hungry for sex’.

In fact she was trying to say he was hungry for success but simply fluffed her lines in rather comical fashion.

For me the best thing about the video is the look on her face after she realises what she had said, and casually clarifies into the camera that ‘success’ was the word that she was searching for.

But like a pro she kept calm and carried on.

And it could be worse; imagine if Jim White had shouted it down the TV at you?
