Transfer news involving Newcastle United, Arsenal, Everton, West Brom and Hull City.
Newcastle United have increased their offer for Lyon and France striker Bafetimbi Gomis. Alan Pardew is said to want two new strikers at the club this summer and one of them is the powerful Lyon striker; who is now said to be the subject of a £6.9 million offer.
The other player is Loic Remy; who they want to sign on a season-long loan deal from QPR.
Arsene Wenger has claimed he is willing to wait for Luis Suarez. Speaking about the transfer move for the Liverpool striker for the first time he claimed:
"We are ready to do quick deals but all the transfers do not depend only on us. But we are prepared to wait. It looks unlikely before the Emirates Cup. We still have a strong squad but we are there on the market to try to strengthen our team. With or without additions we can be title challengers next season."
Scott Sinclair is doing the rounds in the papers this morning with plenty of different teams being linked with his coveted signature. The Manchester City winger has been a flop at The Etihad but is today being linked with Southampton and West Brom.
However Everton are still said to be the favourites for his signature; with Roberto Martinez keen to snap up the wasted talent.
Santi Cazorla has this morning distanced himself from rumours he could return to Spain this summer. The playmaker said he could ‘one day’ return to Spain but that it would not be likely this summer despite the interest in his services from the Calderon.
Hull City have announced the arrival of Evian-Thonon striker Yannick Sagbo. Steve Bruce hopes the new arrival can have a similar impact to the one Christian Benteke had at Aston Villa last season and the man himself has said he is ‘very grateful for the opportunity’ to play in the Premier League.
