Napoli targets Gonzalo Higuain and Pepe Reina have both passed medicals this evening. The Real Madrid striker and Arsenal target is expect to sign on a €40 million deal taking him to the Serie A outfit and long-serving Liverpool goalkeeper Reina will reunite with former Reds boss Rafael Benitez on loan.
Meanwhile, Arsenal and Chelsea target Luiz Gustavo has insisted he is ‘happy to stay’ at European champions Bayern Munich, despite interest from a number of clubs including Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg.
"I want to stay on at Bayern Munich. I am under contract with the club and I want to fulfil that commitment,” stated the Brazilian midfielder.
Serie A giants Lazio have completed the signing of Lucas Biglia on a five-year contract from Anderlecht. The 27-year-old midfielder has spent the last seven season in Belgium and, despite previous interest from a number of top clubs in England and France, the Argentine has signed for Lazio.
