Lady Gaga has topped Forbes' list of richest celebrities under 30, earning an estimated $80m from June 2012 to June 2013 alone.
The singer, who last year ranked at number four, would have made a significant amount more had she not cancelled the last part of her world tour in February, claims Forbes' website. This year she beats former Forbes richest youngster Taylor Swift, as well as Justin Bieber, who is said to be worth a total of $58m.
The list, which is compiled by agents, managers, producers, executives and other industry insiders, is largely dominated by women this year, with half of the top 10 being female pop stars such as Rihanna, Adele and Katy Perry.
Lady Gaga's financial reign is a marked contrast to 2011's reports that she was left £1.82m in debt after overspending on her Monster's Ball tour that ran for 18 months. The 27-year-old came second overall in the Forbes Celebrity 100 rankings – behind Oprah Winfrey and ahead of Steven Spielberg – and now appears to be so financially stable she even purchased a 24-carat gold-plated wheelchair following hip surgery recently.
In other Gaga news, a promotional clip from her ARTPOP album has surfaced online, featuring the singer licking what looks like a mannequin's hand. Watch below:
