CONFIRMED: Liverpool line-up v Melbourne Victory - Suarez a substitute

Liverpool have named their starting line-up for this morning's pre-season friendly against Melbourne Victory.

It's fair to say Liverpool's pre-season game with Melbourne has been somewhat overshadowed by the Luis Suarez transfer saga.

But nonetheless Brendan Rodgers and co are carrying on as planned, by focusing very much on the football side of things.

Liverpool have had a good pre-season thus far, with Brazilian winger Coutinho very much the star man, but he misses out with a slight training ground knock the club describe as 'not serious', as does Kolo Toure.

With youngsters Jordon Ibe and Raheem Sterling also impressing, new signing Iago Aspas has already broken his duck, but Aspas is rested in favour of Fabio Borini.

The club have named their starting line-up for the match, which kicks off at 11am UK time.

Jones, Johnson, Skrtel, Wisdom, Enrique, Gerrard, Allen, Henderson, Ibe, Sterling, Borini.

Subs: Mignolet, Kelly, Coates, Agger, Flanagan, Spearing, Lucas, Downing, Alberto, Aspas, Suarez, Robinson, Assaidi.
