Three games in, and two defeats for Manchester United does not sound too clever for new manager David Moyes.
But it is about far more than results, particularly if a new manager can learn something about his players and discover new stars.
And he has done just that. Jesse Lingard has been a name highly regarded at Old Trafford for the past couple of seasons, even if the Warrington born player he has never won a youth international cap for England.
He scored his third goal in two games for United in their loss to Japan's Yokohama Marinos, a 3-2 defeat.
His goal was an opportunistic goal poacher's effort, after excellent work from new boy Wilfried Zaha.
