Praised PS3 zombie title sets a new record for dominating the UK charts.
Sony's The Last of Us, the critically praised zombie survival game, has taken its sixth week at number one, leaving runner up contenders such as BioShock Infinite in the dust, according to Chart-Track.
Following up behind the top selling game of 2013, is the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft, which experienced a resurgence this week, climbing four spots to number two.
Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros. held onto its spot at number three, followed by a waning Animal Crossing: New Leaf at number four, compared to second place last week.
One title debuted in the top ten this week, Dynasty Warriors 8 at number five followed by perennial favourite Far Cry 3 and Rockstar's Max Payne 3 at number seven.
Bethesda's lauded cash-cow Sykrim continues to make an impact on the UK chart at number eight, up from 11 last week, and FIFA 13 slid five places to ninth.
Closing off the top ten is the grittier re-imagined Tomb Raider from Square Enix, which slid one place from last week.
