Which players at Anfield could exceed expectations next season?
Every season there is a select group of players who just surprise you for all the right and wrong reasons.
Brendan Rodgers is assembling a team capable of a top four onslaught next season but to do so many players will have to play above the expected level; which five could do it?
The biggest surprise of all of course will be if the striker is still at Anfield.
But I need not go into all that; you guys know the craic.
If Rodgers does convince him to remain at the club be in no doubt that he will still give it his all out on the pitch; it is all the guy knows.
And he will still bang in the goals.
The Ivorian has been signed predominantly as cover across the back-line; but try telling him that.
With Jamie Carragher retired there is certainly scope for Toure to get plenty of playing time; and with Rodgers not a fan of Martin Skrtel or Sebastian Coates the former Manchester City player will consider himself more than just a back-up.
No Liverpool fan will be surprised if Coutinho has a good season … but I think we might be surprised by just how good a season he has.
Personally, I think he could be a decent early bet for PFA Player of the Year if Liverpool perform well and he stays fit.
He has already had an excellent pre-season and I think the level of his excellence may just cause a shock.
The Slovakian defender lost his place in the starting line-up toward the end of last season and rightly so; as he was simply not up to scratch.
But with Carragher gone the big man knows this is his chance to earn back a starting role.
The England international was unfortunate to spend all of last season out injured as Brendan Rodgers is a vocal fan of the versatile defender.
With question marks over the left-back slot Kelly could find himself playing at right-back when Glen Johnson is asked to switch sides.
Which of these players will have the biggest impact next season?
