Stevie G (Walton) Liverpool: Luis Suarez has 3 years left on his contract!! Liverpool are not in any way pressured to sell him other than knowing that he wants Champions League football. If Real Madrid or any other team want him then they have to pay "top dollar" simples! Otherwise they can take a running jump - that is what Ian Ayre or Brendan Rodgers should be saying to Suarez or any potential suitors!
Stuthered: My main concern is that if Suarez leaves , then we need to bring in a good striker that gets on the end of things in the box. We are acquiring a good number of creative midfield/winger type players . . . But we must bring in another marquee striker if Suarez goes.
Jas: How would we shape up without Him?? Very Well! As far as I can tell. We played very very well in the last few games of last season when he was suspended.
Still, I'd hate to see him go. He just has that rare Talent/Skill to change the course of a game with a goal from a moment of brilliance. And I tell you what, he DOES work hard for the team.
I hope he stays, but ONLY IF he wants to because he really believes he and Liverpool will be playing with the Best after this season in the European Champions League. I'd hate to see him being forced to stay and then sulk like Torres did. But to be honest I can't see us keeping him against his will. With or without Him, I'm more excited about this coming Season than I have been for years! Y. N. W. A.
Redhed17: It would be better now if he went with all he is reported to have said. Wants to leave Liverpool UK because of the media. Though if he does the s**t he's done in another country, it wont be any easier. Now he wants to leave to play in the Champions League. And is linked with Arsenal and Chel$ki. What about the media problems?
And I think he will go when he puts a transfer request in and someone bids what he is worth.
Liverpool should not just give him away just because he wants to go. This situation is not Liverpool fault, so they shouldn't lose out because of it.
roythered: "We wasted £20 mill on Downing, this kid looks like he has a great future. Offload Downing and use the cash to buy this guy."
Rak S: "£20m is way too much for him at the moment. £10-12m is reasonable value, maybe a bit more, but not much more. The issue is, he's 50% owned by a third party. They will want to maximise their return now, if he's sold to Liverpool (third party ownership isn't allowed in the PL), or retain their share and sell him to Porto for £5-6m and retain their stake. The latter option will see them make even more money if/when Porto sell on for £25m+ in the future.

thesaint: I think the might slow him down somewhat due to additional drag. On a more serious note, I think he should create more headlines with his footballing skills.
