A round up of the latest transfer stories about Chelsea.

Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has indicated he is a transfer target for Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho said the Blues had no other targets apart from Wayne Rooney but Higuain has said Chelsea want him.

Arsenal failed in their bid to secure the Argentinian forward and Chelsea could go after the hit man if their attempts to sign Rooney turn out to be fruitless.

Manchester United boss David Moyes has reiterated that Wayne Rooney is not for sale.

Chelsea have already seen a bid for the striker rejected but Moyes said United will not sell him, which has thrown doubt onto Chelsea’s chances of getting the forward.

Rooney is thought to be unhappy at Old Trafford after Moyes suggested he’d be second string to Robin van Persie for most of next season.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed he will send Brazilian defender Wallace out on loan next season.

The 19-year-old is currently part of the pre-season squad at Chelsea but Mourinho will let him leave to go and gain greater first team experience.

Mourinho cites the fact that Chelsea already have two players at right back in the form of Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta as the reason for the loan.
