Publisher promises ultimate ninja title for current and next-gen platforms.
Capcom has confirmed to fans at the San Diego Comic Con that its ninja title Strider will be returning for another round of side-scrolling mayhem on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and current generation consoles.
Developed by Double Helix Games, the title is set to hit consoles early next year and promises to remain true to the roots of the series offering “fluid, lightning quick combat and ground-breaking free-flowing traversal”.
Strider is set in a dystopian future where gamers can take control of Hiryu, a highly trained saboteur and assassin.
“Perform breakneck acrobatic jumps and mid-air flips while slicing through enemies with Hiryu’s indestructible ‘Cypher’, a plasma charged weapon that can take on a number of properties,” the publisher explains.
“Alternatively, use the climb sickle to gain the high ground, and hit them with a surprise Kunai attack, or call on support allies for some extra muscle when the going gets tough.”
