Luis Suarez has starred in a Uruguayan television advert, which pretty much pokes fun at everything he gets negative press for.
Suarez does not enjoy the best reputation in England by any means and he’s been used in an advert for Uruguayan TV which pretty much has a jab at every single negative stereotype attached to his game.
He's cited the British press as the reason he gets a lot of verbal abuse wherever he goes around England and this seems like a very tongue in cheek way to give a little bit of 'banter' back.
Anything you can think of as a reason why you may dislike him is probably portrayed in this TV ad, which makes it a little bit confusing why he went ahead with it, especially as there is still a very good chance he could end up staying in the Premier League.
It seems to be two parties taking advantage of each other; Abitab who get to use Suarez’s popularity and the striker who gets to poke fun at the main perceptions of him and his game.
Watch out for the dive...
What do you make of that? Good natured fun or something more intentional from the striker?
