Arsenal were at it again on their pre-season tour of Asia this time dealing out a 7-1 thrashing to Vietnam. After thrashing an Indonesian XI outfit in the first game of their tour The Gunners happily carried on the streak with Olivier Giroud in fine fiddle once again. The Frenchman bagged a hat-trick in the first half and further goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chuba Akpom (2) and Ignasi Miquel finished the rout.
Wenger was happy with the result and feels they learned from the experience:
‘’We learned first of all to play at a high pace, because it was a pacy game. We learned to suffer physically because we had two hard sessions yesterday and we practised today. The conditions, the climate, are difficult for us so we had to learn to suffer a little bit and keep our concentration to keep the level of our game high.’’

Jack Wilshere has been speaking about his fitness. The England international claims his injury fears are now behind him and that he is revved up for the new season:
‘’There’s no long-term injury issues at all for me now. They took the screws out (of my ankle) which was causing me a problem and hopefully there will be no problems in it for me. The first game against Villa will be a massive target for me. I’ll be ready for the start of the season and then play as much as possible.’’
