Zombie title manages to cling on to UK sales top spot for yet another week.
Having broken 2013 chart records last week, The Last of Us has set the bar of success higher by holding onto the top UK chart spot for the fifth consecutive week, according to data provided by Chart-Trak.
The fungal-zombie survival title managed to maintain its death-grip on the UK sales chart despite being challenged by a resurgent Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which jumped from fourth to second place, and anticipated newcomer Mario & Luigi: Dream Team at number three.
Ubisoft's popular shooter Far Cry 3 jumped three places to take number six, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed III at seventh and eighth place respectively.
Square Enix's re-imagined Tomb Raider slid further down the chart to come in at number nine, while budget sales for the infamously buggy Aliens: Colonial Marines boosted the title by 12 spots to close the chart at number 10.
