The latest Arsenal related transfer news regarding Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain.
Arsenal are showing no signs of dimming their interest in Liverpool's Luis Suarez.
Liverpool are thought to want £40 million to even consider selling their star man, and are especially reticent to sell to a Premier League rival.
The paper claim that in the meantime, a deal for Gonzalo Higuain has been placed 'on hold', while the Gunners investigate the possibility of signing Suarez.
They add that Arsenal are still 'confident' they can close a deal for the Argentine, believing they have the means necessary to do so.
Higuain is due to return to training with Real Madrid today, and will hold further discussions with Carlo Ancelotti over his future.
The Mail take the Higuain talk a step further, writing that a deal is still likely, but has been made more complex by the Suarez approach:
"The likelihood is that a deal to bring the Argentinian to England will happen, but Wenger’s concrete interest in Suarez, who will be suspended for the opening six games of the season, could raise question marks of Higuain’s capture.
However their confidence could be misplaced, with Italian reports suggesting that Napoli are ready to hijack to Higuain deal by offering Real's €30 million asking price.
SkySports report that goalkeeper target Julio Cesar could sign for Napoli on loan, as QPR consider their options. Despite Arsenal's reported interest, it is unclear as to whether the relegated side have actually received an offer from the Gunners.
Meanwhile previous target Stevan Jovetic is edging closer to a Manchester City move, claim The Sun.
Nicklas Bendtner could be heading to another Premier League club after all, with Steve Bruce's Hull City expressing an interest. Bruce brought the Dane to Sunderland on loan two seasons ago.
