Chelsea’s move for the ‘next Cristiano Ronaldo’ is back on after Bruma’s agent dismissed links over FC Porto’s interest.

Bruma has been linked with Chelsea strongly over the last couple of weeks and they will draw a lot of hope from the fact Porto don’t appear to be in the race for the Sporting Lisbon star.

Bruma has just one-year left to run on his current contract but Porto do not appear to be an option.

Chelsea have signed experienced goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer on a free transfer until the end of the World Cup next year.

The 40-year-old Australian has been looking for a new club and Chelsea have been seeking cover for Petr Cech, failing to sign John Ruddy from Norwich City.

“It's one of the biggest and best clubs in the world and it's an honour to sign for Chelsea. I didn't take much convincing to come here,” he told the club’s website.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has laughed off speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea.

Reports yesterday suggested that the Blues were readying a huge offer of around £40 million for the striker, but while he’s confirmed he has two or three options, Chelsea don’t appear to be one of them.

It will be a blow to Jose Mourinho if he was interested in the player, who will now have to switch focus on securing another prolific forward before the start of the season.
